Some international dishes for you
Italian cannelloni
Ingredients:
2 cups Maida, 2 eggs, 2 tbsp ghee, salt to taste, 100 gm boiled potatoes, 100 gm boiled peas, 100 gm carrot, paneer, black pepper, green chilies, salt, butter
For filling:
1 tomato, 1 cup boiled macaroni, 250 gm keema, 3 tsp tomato sauce, 3 tsp white sauce, 2 onions
Method:
Add salt, 2 tbsp of ghee and 2 eggs in the Maida. Mix them well. Add chilled water from refrigerator and prepare nice dough from it.
Place this prepared dough in the refrigerator after covering it with a wet towel for an hour.
After taking out, prepare 20 balls from the dough.
For preparing filing mixture, mash the boiled potatoes. Add grated carrots and boiled peas in it. Add the separately boiled keema also. Add chopped onions, coriander leaves, green chilies, salt and black pepper to it. At the end, add the boiled macaroni and tomato sauce.
Boil the water in a pan.
Make small pooris from the dough and let them cook in boiled water.
Spread all the boiled pooris carefully on the greased plate. Fill the pooris with prepared filling mixture. Roll them and use toothpick for this.
Place these on the greased baking tray.
Pour the white sauce over it with grated paneer and chopped coriander leaves.
Bake them in oven for 20 minutes.
Serve hot with sauce.
Chinese spring rolls
Ingredients
1cup Maida, 1 tbsp aararot, ½ bowl of assorted chopped vegetables (cabbage, carrot, beans, onions), salt to taste, ajinomotto, oil for frying
Method:
Add eggs and Maida together. Now sprinkle arrarot and mix again. Add water and salt to prepare a nice batter.
Heat oil in frying pan and pour the batter on it. Cook from both sides and take it off.
Chop the vegetables. Grate carrots and onions.
Sauté the vegetables in heated pan with added ajinomotto.
Now pour these sautéed vegetables on the prepared pancake. Roll it. Fry the roll. Serve with soyabean sauce and tomato sauce.
