It is often said by our elders that fish is very god for an unborn baby’s brain. Well this statement is 100 percent true. Fish contains omega-3 fats, and in particular DHA, which are ital to foetal brain development. But even this is equally true that eating fish later in life will not increase intelligence.

Many of us believe that we use only 10 percent of our brain. But the reality is far from this. You all will be surprised to read that we use about 60 percent of our brain even when we are asleep.

Many of us think that shaving causes hair to grow back thicker. But trust me guys it’s nothing more than fiction. Stubble hasn’t the tapered end of unshaven hair, so it just looks thicker.

It is often believed that sugar causes diabetes. But the real fact is that adult onset diabetes is much more likely to be caused by eating too much and not exercising enough.

It is fact that carrots help you to see in the dark. This is because carrots are high in vitamin A. this vitamin supports the light sensitive cells called rods that help you to see in the dark.

If you think that vitamin C will stop you getting a cold, then think again. The vitamin C is certainly needed for healthy functioning of white blood cells, but it can’t stop you getting a cold. A supplement might reduce the duration of symptoms, but it’s certainly not a cure.
