Some common bad habits and ways to get rid of them

January 27, 2009

The old adage ‘ old habits die hard’ is certainly true. But it is very much important to move ahead in life and get rid of certain bad habits before they start affecting your life in bad manner. Some of such bad habits are mentioned below in this article-just read them out!

Are you a compulsive licker? I mean do you keep licking your lips every now and then, and then certainly bring a halt to your habit. This is because licking lips again and again makes them more drier and chapped. To make it more badly, they can become flaky and start bleeding. So make use of a good quality lip balm instead of licking them. Lip balm is the most safest and smartest way to get hold on this bad habit. So try it out!

Nose digging is one of the yuckiest habits one has. There are many people who treat their nose as an excavation site. This habit can badly harm your delicate part of nose. Do you know that the area inside the nose is highly vascular in nature and when you forcefully keep digging it, it can cause bleeding and ultimately result in infections and trauma?

Bonding at dining table is pretty common in every house. Right from sharing how your day was to planning for tomorrow, at dinnertime we open our mouths for more than just food. But do you know that it is a part of bad eating habits. So make sure you avoid it at any cost. First finish your food and then involve yourself in any discussion with your family. Also it can be real dangerous as the food may enter into your windpipe. Be more cautious when you are eating crispy chips as they are dry and can cause choking.
