Skin care in monsoon
It is very important to take care of your skin in this sultry climate. If proper care of skin is not taken in this soggy sopping weather, it can really damage your skin causing fungal infections, allergies etc. So here are some effective home-remedies mentioned below that can be used to protect the skin in monsoons.
For cleaning:
For people having dry skin, almond and honey paste can prove to be very effective. Crush 10 almonds in 2 tsp of honey to make a thick paste. Now massage your face with the same for about five to eight minutes. Then rinse off and pat dry.
For oily skin people, oatmeal scrub can do wonders. One can also use ripe papaya pulp as it acts as an effectual exfoliant.
For toning:
Toning the skin is as important as clearing the skin in monsoons. It is very important that you choose a good quality anti-bacterial toner for your skin care in monsoon. Also keep a fine quality anti-bacterial face wash too.
You can prepare a toner, adding five to six drop of camoline oil in a tsp of milk for a dry skin.
Likewise, for oily skin, ten drops of lavender poured in a tsp of water can be used.
For moisturizing:
Monsoons cause de-moisturizing effect on dry skin. For moisturizing the dry skin, you can make a good paste of jojoba oil, fresh curd along with honey, all together in equal quantities. You can apply this fine paste for about 10 minutes on face and neck and then Wash it with warm water.
Monsoons also affect oily skin by causing over-hydrating effect over it. Naturally, it too becomes essential to protect the oily skin by applying the right kind of moisturizer on it. You can prepare the moisturizer for oily skin by mixing equal drops of rose water, strawberry oil and fresh orange juice. After mixing them well, apply on face for nearly ten minutes and then wash it off.
This way you can provide an excellent skin care in monsoon
