Pros and Cons of Hair Extensions
People with short hair and a desire for instant long hair adopt the route of hair extension. There might be times when you have to go for a ceremony and your dress demands long hair. What do you do? The answer is simple and popular in today’s world- use hair extensions. Hair extensions are growing in popularity with their frequent usage by celebrities. They can be created from 100 per cent human hair, 100 percent synthetic hair or a mixture of both. Moreover, they now come in all colors and texture. However, before going in for them, you must analyze their pros and cons.
No doubt people with short hair take hair extensions as a boon as it helps them realize their wish of flaunting long, flowing hair. While this seems as a simple and convenient option to attain new look in quick time, there are few drawbacks which must be kept in mind before going in for hair extensions. First of all, the famous saying comes to mind- “No pain, no gain”. Thus, to have artificial long hairs, you need to undergo the pain as hair extensions are heavy and can lead to tension on the scalp. Excessive use can also lead to headaches. Moreover, if the hair extensions are very heavy, they can lead to weakening and even falling off of your natural hair. Thus, if you already have weak hair, then you should avoid these things.
Also, you must ensure that you go in for right quality hair extensions to avoid the early wear and tear or even tangling of your hair extensions. Another drawback with hair extensions is that it is usually suitable for only those people who have thick hair as they generally create a budge when placed and thus their artificiality can become visible in thin haired people. Analyze the pros and cons of hair extensions before going in for them so that you can have a balance of style with healthy hair.
