Personal Hygiene Tips

August 20, 2009

hyginepersonalPersonal hygiene is a very common term one comes across at all stages of life. At school, you were marked for your personal hygiene and when you grew up, personal hygiene became an evaluation criterion for your social relationships.

Not only this, personal hygiene is also important for staying healthy and disease free. This article will provide some beneficial tips on personal hygiene.

To begin with, you must regularly have a bath. You should never become lazy or casual when it comes to taking a shower. A regular bath helps in keeping you clean, fresh and odor free.

In addition, keeping your skin clean helps in preventing blemishes, acne and other skin eruptions.

Along with a daily bath, you need regular brushing of teeth. In fact, you should brush your teeth twice or thrice a day to keep them healthy and germ free.

Wearing clean clothes are an essential part of personal hygiene. You should wear well ironed and clean clothes. In addition, pay attention to your footwear.

You also need to ensure that your feet don’t stink. For that, you need to ensure that you change your socks regularly and also provide proper ventilation to your feet. Keeping them trapped in shoes for a long time can lead to bad foot odor.

Comb your hair well. You should not move around with unkempt and tangled hair as that gives a bad impression to the onlookers. In addition, trim your nails at regular intervals and keep them free from dirt.

Most of us are in a habit of using scents and deodorants. While there is no harm in applying different fragrances, you should ensure that you so not apply contradicting fragrances and also don’t apply extremely strong fragrances as that might irritate certain people.

Follow the above given personal hygiene tips to lead a healthy and a happy life.
