Perfect ways to take care of yourself

Summer is the perfect time to start taking care of yourself. While most people find it tough to take care of their looks, here are some simple tips that if followed, will go a long way in keeping your hair shining and skin glowing.

Always keep in mind that at least 6-7 hours of peaceful sleep every night is very much important for refreshing and revitalizing your body. Try to take a hot drink at night (like milk with cocoa or bournvita), as it will relax your tensed nerves and calm your mind towards a peaceful sleep. It is important to keep the mobile on silent, even off the vibrator mode and not keep the mobile under the pillow.

Start your day with two cups of warm water and promise yourself 10-15 surya-namaskar.this is scientific combination of several yogic postures that stretch your muscles, stimulate your glands activity and burn calories.

Include fistful of nuts both almonds and walnuts in your diet. You will be glad to read that two bowls of salad and three helpings of fruit a day not only cleanse the body, these also reduce cholesterol and add to the glow on your cheeks and twinkle in your eyes.

You should not only cleanse your body but also your mind and soul. Start with five minutes of silence increasing it to 15 minutes in a day. Sit still possibly in a quiet spot with your attention on your breathing. This will soothe you mind and will result in clarity of thought and action.

Don’t forget to give yourself a healthy skin routine combined of cleansing, toning and moisturizing. Invest one hour of your precious time once month in a scientific skin care therapy like diamond polishing. It will remove tan, lighten the blemishes and result in a more youthful skin.
