As the name suggests, pancreatic cancer is the cancer of the pancreas. It has been found that people who indulge in excessive smoking are the most vulnerable to this cancer. However, there are various other causes of pancreatic cancer. These include indulgence in a high fatty and oily diet; high alcohol intake; and also diabetes. Being overweight or having a family history of pancreas problem can also increase your risk for pancreatic cancer. Additionally, the risk of this disease increases with age and people who work with organic chemicals or those who are its near vicinity can also be affected by this problem.
