Painting Ideas for a Girls Room
Every girl loves to have a room painted and decorated in a bright and lively manner. After all, a personal room and its décor play an important role in impacting the overall mood and behavior of a person. After you come back from a hectic day of life, you would love to have a room which is welcoming and comforting at the same time. Given below are some tips which will help you paint a girl’s room in the best possible way.
A girls’ room needs to have feminine colors which are light as well as bright. Pinks and greens are the most popular colors for a girl’s room. Usually, if you want the girls’ room to be warmer, then you paint it pink and paint it green for a cooler look. You can also mix the two shades to make the room more unique and expressive. These colors are not only common and trendy, but also provide a refreshing look to the interiors of the house. Usually pinks are most common in a girl’s room when she is young. Even if your girl grows up, you can go in for light feminine colors like lighter shades of pink and green or even white and ivory.
These days stripes too are in fashion. Moreover, painting the walls with a pattern can also add to the interior and overall look of the room. If you have a high creative bent of mind, you can also paint the room in accordance with a theme like those of a fairy castle, angles and even farms. These domestic and fantastical themes are popular with girls in contrast to adventurous themes of boys. Whatever be the color, design, pattern or theme you choose, make it in accordance with the likes of your girl child or a young grown up girl. After all, one’s room should ideally reflect and complement one’s personality.
