Organizing New Years party at home-Read this

December 31, 2008

Hey guys are you thinking to celebrate this coming New Year with a big party within your home itself? Then you must have made certain preparations for making your party a nice gala event with your close friends and family members. Here are some ideas mentioned below that will certainly help in making your party a hit-just read them out!

Make sure you have a great sound system and a good DJ. Undoubtedly it’s difficult to get equipments at the last minute, so make arrangements in advance. Also, make sure that you keep the music preferences of your family member and friends in mind. Instead of buying audio CD’s, look for the latest MP3. It’s wise to load up all the music in your PC or laptop as it’s much easier to jog through the entire list.

Don’t slave over the stove, get a good caterer or hire a cook. Make a list of caterers and pace your order well in advance. But if you want to add some personal touch to your party, you can prepare one or two dishes yourself.

Do you know that a house party can be more enjoyable and thrilling if you keep a theme? So think over it and send invites well in advance to give guests enough time to prepare. Always invite people personally. A phone call followed by a sms is the second best way. For inviting your bumchums, you can use daybook invite or orkut profile.

Keep a talent hunt to add more fun to your party. Invite mix of pals who can sing, dance, tell jokes etc. if you want, you can also mix the DJ with some exotic dancers.

So what more are you waiting for now? Just organize a party and have blast on this New Year!
