A majority of people are troubled by the problem of dandruff. Dandruff leads to the formation of white or yellow flakes on hair and scalp and it is usually accompanied by redness and itching. There are number of factors which can worsen the dandruff condition like genetic, stress and winter season. However, there are certain natural ways by which you can effectively eliminate dandruff.

If you have a tendency to suffer from dandruff problem, then you should make some dietary changes to deal with it naturally. For example, avoid fatty foods and reduce your intake of fats, sugars, peanuts, sea foods and even your favorite chocolates. Instead, adopt the healthy way of life and include food items like green leafy vegetables and raw foods in your diet. This will not only help in naturally curing dandruff but will also aid in your overall health and well-being. It has been found that spices of cumin and turmeric aid in healthy transportation of essential nutrients to hair cells and tissues thereby preventing dandruff caused due to nutrient deficiency. Fruits and vegetables like cabbage, cucumber, tomato and radish are recommended for healthy and dandruff-free hair.
