Natural ways of treating Warts
Warts are lesions on the skin which appear as a result of an infection or virus in the body. Many people remain unaware of the warts virus in the body until one notices changes in one’s skin like the formation of warts. This is because such viruses are invisible to the naked eye. Warts usually appear as small rough tumors in single bumps and clusters and along with being ugly, they can also itch, burn and have unsightly discharge. A person with warts can infect other people and also other parts of his own body. Thus, one should get rid of them as soon as possible and before going in for surgeries and chemical treatment, one can try the natural and herbal treatments to ward off the problem of warts.
Garlic is one natural element which can prove effective to get rid of the problem of warts. This is because garlic is known for its anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral properties. Garlic treatment can be used by applying chopped garlic or garlic oil on the affected areas. One can buy garlic oil or chop up the garlic bulb, mix it with olive oil, refrigerate it overnight and apply it on the affected areas by straining the mixture. Another effective way of curing this problem is by the use of olive leaf extract. Gentian violet is another herbal remedy for warts and preparations of this natural cure can be bought from any alternate medicine shop.
Warts generally go away by themselves as they are caused by self-limiting viruses. However, one can help in eliminating them faster by increasing one’s immune system by taking multivitamins and minerals supplements. High intake of Vitamin C and E can help in restoring and repairing damaged cells and can thus prevent and cure the problem of warts. In addition, other alternative homeopathic remedies are also available to ward off the problem of warts in a natural way.
