Natural Ways of Removing Stretch Marks
Getting rid of nasty stretch marks is the dream of every woman who suffers from these beauty blots. Stretch marks are common in pregnant women and can also be caused due to rapid increase in weight or due to simple unhealthy way of living. A person is ready to spend a bounty on artificial and cosmetic creams and lotions which come with a promise of removing stretch marks in some particular days. However, all these products come with chemicals which can harm one’s skin over the long run. Similarly, laser treatments are also not completely risk-free. Why not try some herbal and natural ways of removing stretch marks which are not only cost-effective but also safe and secure.
Water- the nature’s natural healing element is one of the most basic and effective way of treating and even preventing stretch marks. Water helps in enhancing the elasticity of skin thereby reducing the appearance of such nasty marks. Similarly, protecting the skin from sun is necessary to keep the skin healthy as sun exposure destroys collagen thereby making it difficult for the body to get rid of stretch marks. A natural way of minimizing and removing pregnancy patches is by daily exfoliating and massaging the body with a lightener like cocoa butter. One can also use olive oil, tea tree oil or Vitamin E lotion in place of cocoa butter. Stretch marks are a sign of over stretching of skin which can be caused by pregnancy or overeating. Thus, keep a check on your diet so as to keep your weight under control which in turn would automatically aid in preventing stretch marks. Similarly, regular exercising is also essential for the toning up of body and thus preventing the loosening or stretching of skin.
By following some basic natural remedies and healthy lifestyle, one can get rid of the problem of stretch marks which are a major blot on a person’s beauty.
