No one likes to move around with grey hair and carrying an old look and image when you are actually young can be a shattering of one’s self-image. Many people today are suffering from the problem of premature graying of hair which is caused by various factors like faulty diet, lack of vitamins, heredity problems and various other causes coupled with emotional stress and strain. Other factors like the unclean condition of the scalp, excessive use of blow dryers and diseases like chronic cold, constipation and anemia can also lead to premature graying of hair. However, one should not feel depressed and alienated as there are certain natural and herbal methods available which can help to prevent and even cure this problem of premature graying of hair.
The most helpful remedy is the most basic and common one as it involves intake of a healthy and a nutritious diet. Majority of the problems which occur in one’s body is due to unhealthy eating habits of a person. To cure the problem of gray hair, one should include food items which are rich in vitamins like pantothenic acid, para-aminobenzoic acid or PABA which in turn belong to Vitamin B family. In addition, drinking yogurt daily with a tablespoon of yeast can be beneficial in the treatment of this problem. To attain faster and better results, one should try to include iron and iodine in one’s diet which can be done through intake of seafood. If one is a vegetarian, one can consume food items like carrots, bananas and other fruits which help in retaining the health and color of one’s hair.
Daily household items like gooseberry or amla are invaluable natural tonics for one’s hair as they help in enriching hair growth and hair pigmentation. Massaging the scalp with a teaspoonful of amla juice mixed with a teaspoonful of almond oil or few drops of limejuice has proved beneficial in the prevention and treatment of premature graying of hair. By following simple and natural methods, one can look young and healthy forever without spending unnecessary time and money on artificial cosmetic products which do more harm than good.
