Natural Teeth Whiteners

August 4, 2008

To bring about a bright and a pleasing smile, you require shinning white teeth. To dazzle everyone with a smile, people are going in for instant beauty treatments which may bring about an instant effect but the chemical bleaches and peroxides used in them can have adverse effects on one’s health. Thus, the safest way is to indulge in natural teeth whitening techniques which naturally help in removing stains and plague from the teeth, eventually making them glow and shine with health.

By consuming carbonated drinks, tea and coffee and by excessive smoking, the teeth of an individual loose their natural shine and gradually turn pale and unhealthy. By following certain natural means, one can bring about a whitening of the teeth without any fear of any side effect. To naturally remove stains from one’s mouth, one should mix baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to form toothpaste which should be used regularly. Similarly, rubbing the bark of walnut tree on the teeth also helps in the removal of stains. Strawberries are natural teeth whiteners which can remove paleness and stain when rubbed over the teeth. However, one should brush one’s teeth with fluoride toothpaste after this process.

The process of brushing teeth with baking soda and salt mixture has been used since a long time for the natural removal of stains. While stains can be removed with the help of peroxide, baking soda helps to kill bacteria which cause plague. In addition, rubbing the teeth with the inside of the orange peel or brushing teeth every night with apple cider vinegar can effectively help in bringing about a natural teeth whitening effect.

There are also vegetables like celery, carrots, broccoli and cucumbers which are naturally abrasive and act like little tooth brushes which scrub away stains. In addition, avoiding excess intake of coffee, tea, red wine and carbonated drinks can help in keeping one’s teeth white and healthy.
