Natural Remedies For Treating Fainting
Defined as a temporary loss of consciousness due to limited and reduced blood supply to the brain, fainting is a medical condition which is accompanied by a horrid sensation. The person fainting experiences some uncomfortable sensations prior fainting and also some discomfort after one regains conscious.
Fainting can be caused due to a number of factors like dip in blood pressure or blood sugar level, stress, anxiety, fear, emotional distress, drug abuse, heat exhaustion and can also be caused by some underlying ailment like anemia, insulin shock and lack of oxygen supply.
Before fainting, many people feel nauseated and weak and fainting is also usually accompanied by the paling of skin color. Given are some natural remedies which can help you deal with the problem of fainting.
If you frequently suffer from the problem of fainting, then you should get a medical checkup done and follow preventive actions as advised by your doctor. It is always better to identify the cause behind your fainting episodes so that you can prevent it.
For instance, if standing in one place for a long time makes you feel giddy, you should take steps to avoid such long hours of standing. If you feel giddy due to over exhaustion or heat exhaustion, then take relief under a shade and drink water to re-hydrate your body. Also, sit down immediately when you feel faintish so that you do not fall down hurting your head and body.
Getting rid of stress, emotional distress, fear and unnecessary tension are helpful remedies for preventing fainting. Also, remember to keep yourself hydrated through intake of adequate water. Also, when a person faints, you should provide him with adequate breathing space and loosen up his clothes so as to make him feel comfortable. Follow these tips to natural treat fainting.
