December 17, 2008

We all try various kinds of facial creams and masks to get that glow and radiance on our skin. But now you can achieve that glow in a much natural way by using natural fruits. Surprised? After all, we generally associate fruits with only their consumption for better health. But now, along with leveraging their benefits via eating, you can also apply them as face masks for a magical effect. Read ahead and find out how.

We are all familiar with the popular saying “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”. But now an apple will also help to keep all skin problems away. Apples contain components like pectin and tannin that help in natural toning and tightening of skin. Moreover, you can make a face mask of it by mixing two teaspoons of grated apple, two pieces of mashed papaya combined with one teaspoon of fresh cream and china clay for a healthy-looking skin. Papaya is also very effective as a natural face mask. Use ripe papaya pulp and apply it on your face for around 10 minutes before rinsing it off with cold water. You can also add oatmeal, honey or curs with ripe papaya pulp for a further effect. Did you know that fresh, ripe bananas can make excellent face masks? Yes, you heard it right. You can revitalize your tired, worn out skin by preparing a banana face mask. The process is very simple. You just need to mash two ripe bananas with a tablespoon of honey. Just apply this mixture evenly on your face and neck region and keep it for 10 – 15 minutes. Rinse it off with cold water to find new rejuvenated soft and healthy skin.

The given natural face masks can be easily prepared at home and can be used for attainment of naturally healthy and glowing skin.
