Stuffed bananas with imli
Ingredients
6 bananas, 2-3 onions, 4 garlic cloves, 1 tsp ginger paste, 4 green chilies, 100 gm imli, 1/3 tsp salt, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, ¼ tsp coriander powder, ¼ tsp garam masala, 1/6 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp amchoor powder, some chopped coriander leaves, 100 gm oil
Method:
Make slit in the center of banana with the help of knife.
Soak the imli in water and prepare its juice from its pulp.
Heat oil in pan and sauté chopped onions in it. Add all the seasonings, salt, chilly powder and amchoor, stir –fry.
Later fill this mixture in the slits of bananas.
Again heat oil in pan and sauté onions. Add red chilly powder, garam masala, salt, turmeric powder and dry coriander powder. Stir-fry. Pour banana pieces in it. Add a bit of water.
Cook on low flame with closed lid.
Serve hot, pouring imli juice over it.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and green chilies.
Cauliflower dahi-bade
Ingredients:
2 cups of grated cauliflower, 1 cup moong dal, 1 cup besan, 2 cup curd, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp rock salt, 4 tsp roasted jeera, ½ tsp red chili powder, ¼ tsp garam masala powder, some chopped coriander leaves, oil for frying
Method
Soak the dal a night before.
Make a paste of dal in a blender next day.
Stir fry 1 cup cauliflower with 1/2 tsp salt in pan for 5 minutes.
Add the rest grated cauliflower to dal paste. Add besan and salt with other seasonings. Mix them well.
Now heat oil in pan and prepare the bade from the above paste.
On the other hand, mix curd and cooked cauliflower together.
Pour all the fried bade in water for 5 minutes.
Put these bade over serving plate and pour curd on it. Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve with chutney.
