Mouth-Watering Indian Recipes
Hey people, here are some mouth-watering vegetarian Indian recipes for you all-just try them out in your kitchen cabinets. I am sure you all would love it.
Carrot bharta
Ingredients:
250 gm carrots, 150 gm tomatoes, 2conions, 1 tbsp vanaspati ghee, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 2 tsp coriander powder, ½ red chili powder, ¼ tsp garam masala powder, 1 tsp salt, pinch of hing, 1 tsp jeera, 1 tsp desi ghee
For garnishing:
Green chilies, coriander leaves, roasted jeera
Method:
Wash the carrots and peel off their skin. Boil them in cooker.
Chop the tomatoes and pour them in a blender with boiled carrots and blend well.
Heat oil in a pan and sauté chopped onion in it with turmeric powder, green chilies and coriander powder. Add blended tomato –carrot paste and stir-fry.
When water starts to get dry, add garam masala to it. Close the burner.
Heat oil in another pan and splutter hing, jeera and pour over the prepared bharta.
Garnish with green chilies and coriander leaves.
Serve hot.
Khoya baigan
Ingredients:
9 brinjals, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp amchoor or ½ cup lemon juice, 4 tsp coriander powder, chopped coriander leaves, 100 gm khoya, 1 chopped green chilly, oil for frying
Method:
Wash the brinjals well.
Make a nice long cut in brinjals with the help of knife and fry them in oil till they get soft. Keep them aside to cool down.
Roast the khoya in a pan on low flame. Add all the dry masala in it and mix well. Also add coriander leaves, chilies except for chat masala and lemon juice.
Fill this prepared mixture as filling inside the cuts of brinjals.
Sprinkle chat masala and lemon juice on all binjals. Also sprinkle some khoya on them.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve.
