Low Calorie Chicken and Lemon Soup

To prepare a low calorie chicken and lemon soup at home, you require 20 grams of butter, 4 finely chopped shallots, 1 grated carrot, 1 grated celery stalk, 80 grams of skinless chicken breast, 2 lemons and 800ml chicken stalk. Since you need to finely chop the required ingredients, you can preferably use a food processor for better effect. To prepare the soup, you first need to heat butter in a large saucepan. Then add all vegetables and chicken pieces in it and cook for 8 minutes. Remember to stir it occasionally. Then the next step demands you to squeeze the juice from the two lemons present and add it to the pan along with the chicken stock. Also, add salt and pepper to it. Slowly bring all the items to boil and simmer it for 50 minutes. The dish for two is ready and now you can easily savor the taste of delicious soup without the fear of additional calories.
