Living in an AC house
Hey girls and guys, you all will be surprised to read that indoor air, where we spent most of our time either in home only or offices gets contaminated by organic compounds.
Such an air is the prime cause behind most cases of nagging headaches, itchy eyes, nausea, soreness, loss of concentration and dry skin.
So if you thought that living in an AC house is very healthy, rethink! Only by keeping yourself confined to the four walls of an AC room, you actually breathe same air again and again.
also the construction materials, synthetic furnishings, plastic pints, computer accessories, electrical equipments and everyday household items such as cleaning liquids also produces harmful fumes and particulate matter that stay trapped in the buildings, thus these items contribute to the build up of what is known as the ‘sick building syndrome’.
Terrified after reading the above paragraph? Don’t be! People, here are some indoor plants for you that can certainly help you in this regard. The potted plants which are mostly used for ornamental purpose can clean the air, increase the greenery thus increase the positive vibes in the room and reduces the stress and anxiety.
Remember that indoor plants absorb harmful substances like dirt and dust, decrease sound levels, increase humidity and, most important, absorb harmful carbon dioxide and emit oxygen.
Moreover people who are prone to allergic and respiratory problems can also get benefit from indoor plants, because they help improving the concentration levels, thus leading to improved productivity. So don’t think, much and get your home decorated with plants like money plant, rubber tree or lady palm.
Money plant also known as the friendship plant with its glossy, green and heart shaped leaves is a great humidifier. Lady palm is slow growing plant, highly insect resistant and improves indoor air quality.
