Lip-smacking snacks for your child
Hey people, here are some lip-smacking and tasty snacks items for your kids. Just read them below and prepare them in your homely kitchen. I am sure your kids would love them.
Mozzarella cheese roll
Ingredients
½ kg mozzarella cheese, 3 tomatoes, 100 gm rocket cheese, 50 ml olive oil, salt and black pepper to taste
Method
Boil 3 glasses of water in a pan.
Chop the cheese in ¼ inch of slices in any desirable shape and drop into water.
Let them remain in water till they start melting.
Later place the cheese singles on pieces of cloth. Drain the whole water from them using rolling pin.
Garnish them with rocket leaves and tomato slices.
Sprinkle olive oil, salt and black pepper over them.
Serve.
Ricotta cone
Ingredients
200 gm grated ricotta cheese, pinch of nutmeg powder, salt and pepper to taste, 200 gm puff pastry, 1 beaten egg, 1 metal cone
Method
Add salt, black peeper and nutmeg powder to the cheese and keep them aside.
Cut the 1 inch long pieces of puff pastry using the pizza cutter.
Roll these strips on the sides of metal cones. Brush the cone outer layer with beaten egg. Bake these cones on 180 degree Celsius for 20-25 minutes. Keep side to cool down.
Carefully take out the new cone prepared on the layer of metal cone. Fill this cone with cheese mixture.
Your ricotta cone is ready to eat. Serve.
Khubani jam
Ingredients
1 ½ kg khubani, 1 kg sugar
Method
Chop the khubani and de-seed them.
Cook these khubani pieces long with sugar on low flame in pan.
When both the ingredients gets cooked up, keep them aside to cool down.
Later fill them into clean bottles. Your khubani jam is ready to eat. Serve.
