Lip-smacking snacks for you

Are you hungry? Then try out these sumptuous, tasty snacks which are not only healthier plus can be prepared in few minutes. Take a look below!

Crispy canopy
Ingredients

3 boiled potatoes, 1/2 cucumber, 1 tomato, a pinch of salt and black pepper, 1/2 lemon juice, mint chutney and tamarind chutney, aloo bhujia for garnishing, 6 canopies

Method
Chop the potatoes, cucumber, tomato and onion into small pieces.
Mix them well.
Add 2 tablespoon of both chutneys to it.
Sprinkle salt and black pepper to it.
Add the lemon juice to it.
Mix the ingredients well. Place in the canopies.
Garnish the canopies with aloo bhujia.

Apple burger
Ingredients

2-3 red apples, 1 cup chopped French beans, 1 cup chopped carrots, 1 cup chopped cabbage, 1 cup peas, boiled potatoes, 1 chopped onion, 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves, 2-3 chopped green chilies, salt to taste, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, ¼ tsp garam masala, ¼ tsp black pepper powder and red chili powder, 4 tbsp bread crumbs, oil for frying, some round slices of tomatoes

Method
Heat oil in pan and sauté chopped onions in it. Now add chopped cabbage, French beans, carrots, peas and some water. Let the vegetables cook on low flame.
When all the vegetables get soft, mash them. Add boiled and mashed potatoes with coriander leaves and green chilies to make a nice mixture.
Add salt, red chili powder, black pepper powder, garam masala to mixture and mix well.
Prepare round tikkis from this mixture. Roll each tikki in the bread crumbs and then fry them in oil in heated pan.
Cut the apple in circular rounds and place each tikki in them and cover them with another apple slice.
Prepare just like bun –burger by adding slices of onions, cabbage and tomatoes. Serve hot with chutneys.
