Leg Toning Exercises

Having long beautiful and toned legs is the desire of most people. Exercises not only help in toning of legs but also provide them with strength and flexibility which is required to prevent them from various disorders. However, toning of legs does not require freaky and vigorous workouts. Instead, by following a healthy regime of simple daily exercises, one can keep one’s legs and body in shape and can get rid of those embarrassing flabby and un-shapely legs. Moreover, toning of legs will provide you with the added advantage of wearing skirts and dresses of your choice without any fear of flabby legs.

Exercise to Tone Calf muscle: One can follow this simple yet effective exercise to bring about a toning of one’s calf muscles. For this, you first need to lift your heels off the ground, hold them for a few seconds in the raised position and then bring them back to their original position. Another exercise for calf muscles involves standing straight and taking one bent leg behind you and raising it slightly off the ground. Then one should slowly rise on the other toe so that the entire weight come son that leg. The same exercise should be performed with the other leg to attain desired effect.

Thigh Workout
: To bring about a workout of the thigh, one should perform a leg extension exercise which involves straightening of legs in the forward direction. One should then tighten one’s thigh muscles and try to lift the legs. Hold this position for a few seconds before coming back to your original position.

Inner Thigh Pulls: Many women complain of flabby inner thighs which can look ugly and unhealthy when one wears leg exposing dresses. This exercise can help in the tightening of the flabby inner thighs and is performed using a pulley machine.
