How to widen your circle of friends

Certainly friends enrich our lives in many ways and make us feel part of something bigger than ourselves. This is why it is too easy to feel left out of things when you sit alone surrounded by group of people having fun together.

Do you know that widening your circle of friends also widens your understanding of the world also? So here are some ways that can help you to widen your circle of friends-just have a look on them!

You may meet the same person at the station every morning, nod, smile but never had the conversation with the person. So break the ice now. Talk to them and find out about them. Why not sit together in a train and discuss some common interests. Remember that great friendships are built by saying single ‘hello’.

Have you tried out online networking? Trust me there are people who have find great friends via online. There is increasing number of online social networks. Some of them are rout, face book etc. they enable you to post a profile and exchange views with others who share your interests. Online networks are fantastic when you want to find people who share some obscure interest with you. So what’s stopping you now? Just sit down and relax with some internet friends.

From speed dating to business breakfasts, there are lots of organized networking events you can attend. You may be attending the meeting because of your work, but you ever know that you might meet someone you’d like to socialize with.
