2 cup of leftover boiled rice, 1 tsp pomegranate seeds powder or dry mango powder, 1large sliced onion, 2 chopped green chilies, some chopped coriander leaves, 1 tsp of red chili powder, 3-4 cups of floor, salt as per your taste
Toss the rice in a frying pan or a tawa to make it crispy. Then add all the ingredients to it and toss a bit more.
Prepare two equal sized chapattis and put the rice mixed with all the spices on one of them. Now cover it with other roti and run a rolling pin over it to infuse them together and make them flat. Make sure that the filling gets spread evenly and equally.
Now fry the parantha in oil till it turns brown and crisp from both sides. Serve it with butter, curd, mint chutney, pickle or even with ginger tea.
Dal ki poori
2 cup of flour, 1 cup of leftover dal (any kind), a tsp of oil, you can even mix two kinds of dal together, if you want to.
Knead the flour and dal together with one tsp oil to make poori dough. Don’t add any water since dal is liquid. Also you don’t need to add any seasoning but little bit of salt, as per your taste.
Roll the dough into pooris and deep fry them.enjoy it with curd, chutney or pickle.
