How to use handy blender in the best way

September 11, 2008

Certainly it’s very important to take adequate care of your handy to extend its life so that you can make more and more use of it. Handy comes with various attachments performing the functions of grinding, beating, whisking etc, thus acquiring a position of a strong kitchen tool now –a-days.

You can always begin with switching off power and pulling out the plug, and then handling the guard, replacing the attachments and finally rinsing them under a tap by picking out the solid pieces to clean it out properly.

Whenever using, make it a habit to switch it off briefly after every three minutes to let the motor of your handy to cool down and also to prevent the slackening of coupling sleeve spring on the attachment. In case, slackening still occurs, you can make use of a plier to rectify it.

To make your handy remain in a good working condition for longer period of time, let it run in an upside down position for a while once in a month.

Make it a habit to switch off before fitting or removing any blade by removing plug from the electrical socket.

Try to use deep dishes particularly whenever you are grinding, beating, whisking or mincing some smaller quantities of edibles to make the handy perform at its best level.

Whenever you a making use of a blender for the purpose of whisking cream or any thick substance like pulp, make sure that the dish and blender are perfectly dry as even a little amount of moisture can act as an enemy in the process.

Do not ever grip handy tightly, instead move it slightly. and while beating cream, move it up and down gently to lighten the mixture without removing the disc from the mixture altogether.
