How to tell a man you like him

August 7, 2008

Thinking to break the ice finally? Looking back the years, you have loved being with him, enjoying his company and sharing lot of stuff in common. Certainly you have lot of respect for your guy, but telling him that you really like him more than friend, can really brought butterflies in your stomach. But don’t panic. Here are some easy ways that can really help you to put your words in action, so that you can tell him that how much you fancy him.

First of all put yourself in his shoes. Based on what you know about him, choose the appropriate language as well as the situation that will make him comfortable and put him at ease. Avoid any kind of rough mode for approaching him. If you are unsure, err on the side of caution.

To avoid any kind of embarrassment, make sure you choose the venue for breaking the news appropriately.

Be clear about the things. You don’t have to be cryptic to be tactful. Instead of wrapping your feelings of romance in a riddle, clearly convey your attraction. This approach will not only be easy for him but also for you too. After conveying your message in a proper way, make sure you keep the doors of response open. Don’t put any pressure on your guy. Also, tell him that you want to remain friends with him, even if there are no chances of closer relationship from his side. Tell him that you value his friendship and do not want to loose that. And then give him some time after you made your declaration. It can be few days or even weeks too. But once you start counting months, you can safely bet that he is not interested in your proposal.
