How to take care of yourself in winters
Cold winters undoubtedly causes dry skin problems, damage your hair beyond repair and results in flakiness. In other words, one can say that winter weather wrecked your hair and skin making them dull, damaged and disastrous. But not to worry any more! Read this article below, it will give you provide you with number of ways for protecting yourself in this wintry season.
First know your skin type and then take due care of it accordingly. Dry skin needs lot of moisturizing during winters. So choose a cream that can re-balance the moisture level in your skin. Use exfoliation once week using intense moisture gel mask, followed by cleansing and toning for treating your dry facial skin. For some really intense moisturizing and combating dry tight skin, try a lotion enriched with fruit oils. Avoid using multiple moistures. The mad mix only damages your skin. So be smart and stick to that moisturizer that suits your skin type.
Keep a good check on your diet during winter season to keep yourself in healthy state. In winters the intake of water gets reduced which causes dryness. So make sure you increase the intake of fluids and fresh fruits in your diet. Mix good skin care with a vitamin-rich, well balanced diet.
For treating your chapped lips in winters, keep your body well hydrated, apply lip balms and increase the intake of omega 3 fatty acids.
Taking care of your locks is as important as taking care of your skin. For protecting your hair from getting dry, shield the hair with a leave-in conditioner, or by wearing a scarf or caplet the use of blow dryers and curling irons in winters. Use lukewarm or cool water for washing your hair as they give your hair an extra shine.
