How to take care of cold and cough

Does the onset of winters give you a running nose or a sore throat problem? Does the falling temperature of winter’s makes you cough and sneeze every now and then? Well if yes, there certainly you have a low resistance towards changing weather conditions. But don’t panic anymore regarding the same. Here are some easy ways for all you terrified people that will help you to take care of your body from seasonal coughs and colds. Just have a look on the following for your benefit!

Drink as much as warm fluids as you can-it can be a hot tea, hot coffee a bowl of soup or even a glass of warm water. Believe me or not, inhale the warm mist and you will feel so nice and relaxed. Warm fluids relax your airway and loosen up the phlegm.

You can buy the cough syrups from markets and have them. Do you know that market is flooded with number of herbal cough syrups? Have little drops of it or you can even take hard candies to coat your irritated throat.

Don’t ever undermine the importance of liquid in your diet even if you are suffering from body infections. drink plenty of liquids. It is very important that you have at least six to eight glasses of simple water everyday. Water will help in flushing out body toxins. This will keep you at bay from body ailments.

Do you know that grapes tone up the lungs and act as an expectorant, relieving a simple cold and cough in couple of days. You can also take a cup of grape juice with honey to get relief from cough. For making a wonderful home cough syrup, take the juice of an onion and mix it with honey. Kept this solution for four to five hours. A tsp of this syrup proves to be very beneficial in getting rid of cough.
