How to Prevent Frizzy Hair
There is a difference between beautiful curly hair and frizzy hair which present an unhealthy look. Frizzy hair can occur due to various reasons like overuse of stylizing products, excessive blow-drying or damage which occurs due to chemical processing. By understanding the root cause of frizzy hair, one can get rid of it thereby helping to attain a healthy and a nourishing look.
If you go for excessive coloring or bleaching of your hair, there is a high probability that your hair would become dry and frizzy. This is because chemicals contained in the stylizing products lead to building up of dryness in the hair which in turn makes them weak, brittle and frizzy. To heal damaged hair caused by overuse of chemicals, one must make it a point to use deep conditioning treatment once a week to soften and soothe the hair and provide them with the required moisture. However, one should not go in for oil-based moisturizers as they can contribute to the further problem of frizzy hair. Girls with beautiful curly hair often get into the desire of getting their hair strengthened. One should learn to accept and love the texture of one’s hair as frequent straightening of hair can lead to them becoming unruly and frizzy.
Other tried and tested tips for the prevention of frizzy hair include combing your hair with a wide toothed comb before taking a bath. Many people tend to remove tangles from wet hair but hair when wet is weak and thus combing it that time can damage it which in turn can make them unruly and frizzy. In addition, one should avoid washing one’s hair everyday as it can lead to unnecessary dryness. To prevent your frizzy hair from getting frizzier while one sleeps, one should try sleeping on a sating pillow case. However, one should avoid sleeping with a satin cap on as that would cut off the circulation of air to one’s hair follicles. By following some basic methods, one can effectively prevent and control frizz. Proper conditioning and natural styling techniques can ensure that your hair remain in a healthy condition.
