How to prepare mutton chops in Andhra style

Hey people, you all must have eaten the simplest dish of mutton chops in desi style, but did you ever think of preparing it in some regional style. Well then don’t panic! All you experimenting and taste- conscious genre, here is the recipe for preparing mutton chops in Andhra style which will surely be loved by you- so just read it out!

Ingredients:
½ cup grated coconut, 28 flakes garlic, 1 sticks cinnamon, 40 gms ginger, 4 ½ tsp peppercorns, 8 cloves, 3 ½ tsp cumin seeds, 5 green cardamoms, 2/3 cup water, 1 ½ kgs mutton chops, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 2 sprigs curry leaves, 2 medium tomatoes cut into squares, ¾ cup vegetable oil, 6 sliced green chilies, ¼ cup cashew nuts broken into pieces, 4 ½ salt, 4 medium sliced onions.

Method:

Grind together coconut, ginger, garlic, cardamoms, cinnamon, peppercorns, cloves and cumin seeds into a paste adding a little water (2/3 cup) from time to time.
Put chops, tomatoes and turmeric powder into cooker. Stir once.
Close cooker. Bring to full pressure on high heat. Reduce heat and cook for 10 minutes.
Remove cooker from heat. Allow to cool naturally.
Open cooker. Remove chops. Reserve cooking liquid.
In a pan, heat oil for about three minutes. Add curry leaves, cashew nuts, chilies and onions. Fry till onions are pale brown. Add ground paste. Stir and fry for about three minutes. Add cooking liquid and salt. Cook till liquid dries up and oil shows separately (approximately five minutes), stirring constantly. Add chops. Stir and fry for about five minutes. Serve hot.
