Just any everyday chore gets boring, treading the same path every morning can become tiring ritual. So, one of the ways to make your morning walk more interesting is by altering your path at least once every month and also exploring your surroundings. This will keep you hooked to this simple yet beneficial routine.

When you walk, hold your hands behind your back, interlocking them at the wrists. Keep your back very straight and shoulders flexed just slightly backwards. Take deep, full breaths as you walk. These exercises will help in straightening your spine, counter aches in the back and neck, plus it will improve your general body posture.

Another exercise you can incorporate while doing your morning walk is taking your hands behind your head. Place your right hand on your left shoulder and vice versa. Your elbows should point upwards. Keep your head straight. Breathe in deeply and fully and feel the relaxation. This exercise will help in countering the symptoms of asthma, remove stiffness from shoulders and neck muscles.

As you walk, only inhale for the first five steps, and then exhale for the next five. Try and increase the number of steps gradually. Bear in mind that the number of steps should be same when you inhale as well as when you exhale. This exercise boosts oxygen circulation in your body. Plus also helps in purifying the bloodstream, increases efficiency of the lungs, heart and kidney.

Hey girls and guys, make sure you incorporate the above written exercises in your fitness schedule to lead a more healthy and vigorous life.
