However, you can now make your own cold creams at home by using purely natural elements. Given below are such helpful and creative methods.
To make a good moisturizing cream for dry skin, you can use ingredients like 1 beaten egg yolk, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, little olive oil and vegetable oil. First you need to beat egg yolk and lemon juice together in a bowl. Then gradually add both the oils, and constantly stir them so that it becomes thick. Your cream is ready. Refrigerate it and use it for naturally moisturized skin. You can also make a beeswax cold cream at home. For that you need to measure 1/3 cup beeswax pellets, 3 tbsp of coconut oil, ¼ sweet almond oil, and 1 tsp liquid vegetable glycerin into the top of a double boiler. Heat it on low heat and wait for beeswax to melt. Be careful as beeswax is inflammable and thus you should avoid try melting it in microwave or high heat. When the beeswax is in the melting process, you need to constantly stir the mixture. After stirring, the mixture should be allowed to cool and thicken. Then, you need to add 2 tbsp of rose water. Again you need to stir thoroughly. After that, your cream is ready and you should store it in a clean bottle with tight lid. You can then use this every night for smooth and healthy skin.
Given above are some effective ways by which cold creams can be made at home for a natural moisturizing and glowing effect.
