How to make Car Fresheners at Home
We will always prefer to sit in a fragrant and an aromatic car than a normal one. Car fresheners help in adding freshness and fragrance in the car which makes one’s journey comfortable and enjoyable. However, one does not need to indulge in expensive and imported car fresheners as they can be easily made at home with materials and products which almost every household has. Moreover, such fresheners do not involve a lot of time and instead they help in the creative and fruitful use of one’s time.
One way of making automobile fresheners is by the use of molds like lids of any jar. One also needs ordinary white glue which would make the base of air fresheners. First one should remove any cardboard disc which is inside the lid and spray the inside of the lid with non-stick cooking spray to make it easy to extract the air freshener from the mold. Then one should squirt some glue into the bottom of the mold and one can also tint the glue so that it blends with colors in the chosen potpourri. One should stir the color well with the glue and then add small pieces of potpourri. When looking at the finished air freshener, one should be able to see only pieces of potpourri sticking up out of the glue and not the glue as such. Allow the mold to sit and dry and when the glue gets dried slowly, one’s air freshener gets ready to be hanged.
Another simple and effective way of preparing air freshener is by carving out a shape from a thick piece of paper. The shape can be anything ranging from flowers to any geometric shape and one should make two small holes in it. The holes can be used to hang the freshener to be prepared in the car. Then, one should put drops of scented oil to the centre of the crafted paper and decorate the freshener according to one’s desire as it becomes ready to use. These fresheners are not only for automobiles but can also be used as home fresheners.
