How to Make a Baby Laugh

July 9, 2009

babylaughA baby’s laugh fills his parent’s heart with immense joy and happiness. It is always a delight to see small babies smile and laugh. This article will throw light on some simple ways by which you can make your baby laugh and smile.

Babies are not very demanding when it comes to making them laugh. They get happy and cheerful with life’s small things. Sing a song or recite a nursery rhyme and you’ll attract your baby’s attention and even see him smile and become happy.

You can also speak in some funny voices or imitate sounds of various animal and birds to see a smile on your baby’s face. Many babies laugh when they see their near and dear ones dancing for them.

Your baby will imitate your expressions. Thus, you just need to have a happy, smiling and a cheerful face to see the same laughter and smile on your baby’s face.

Hug your baby, nuzzle him, tickle him gently and you’ll see him breaking into laughter. Many babies laugh with their heart when you tickle them on their tummy and toes.

Babies get extremely happy and cheerful when you give them a new toy. Give them a stuffed toy and see them talk and play with it. In addition, you can play some baby games with your child to see your baby roar with laughter.

There are times when your baby might feel cranky and irritated. You must ensure that your baby’s diaper is not wet as that can lead to your child becoming cranky.

In addition, constant wails and cries of your baby can also indicate an upset stomach or some underlying illness. Thus, you must take care of these small things to keep your baby smiling forever.
