How to get rid of Termites
Also called as “white ants”, termites are destructive creepy-crawlies that invade the house and destroy everything made of wood. They are generally attracted to exposed untreated lumber, and areas of moisture and humidity. To protect your house from termite invasion, follow some given effective steps.
If you find your house is being attacked by termites, then look for source of this attack. Cracks in the building, leaky drains, and standing water are all some loopholes which give termites an entry into your home. Once you find out the possible reason of termite attack, take steps to resolve the problem. Do this by sealing off all cracks in the walls, and ensuring that your house does not have a wet and humid environment which is suitable for termites.
Since termites thrive in moist weather, minimize water accumulation and humidity in and around your place. Take these preventive measures before they pose serious problems as prevention is always better than cure.
