How to get rid of Split Ends
Frequent drying of hair and harmful effects of sunrays, pollution and chemicals are responsible for making your hair dry, brittle and weak with frequent split ends. Split ends make your hair look untidy and unkempt and thus one needs to take extra care of such hair so as to enhance your beauty through beautiful hair. Given below are some tips through which you can effectively get rid of split ends.
It is a general human tendency to comb hair after hair wash. However, this method is not recommended as it leads to breakage of hair giving way for split-ends. Always use a wide toothcomb to avoid the formation of split-ends. Drying of hair through frequent washing makes your hair susceptible to split ends. This is because shampoos have harmful chemicals and thus it is always recommended to use conditioners after shampooing so as to help retain the natural moisture of hair. To keep your hair strong, apply conditioners at the ends of hair so as to prevent split ends. The most simple and basic method is to get regular trimming of hair so that split ends can be kept under check. Split ends need to be trimmed so that they do not lead to further extension of split ends.
One needs to protect hair from the harmful effect of weathers to keep it healthy. This involves covering your hair with scarf when going out in sun as sunrays can easily harm your harm leading to formation of split ends. Do not leave your hair open as that makes it susceptible to the harmful effects of environment. Similarly, stay away from harmful chemical and artificial treatments like perms, hair drying, or coloring as they all make the hair weak and brittle.
Split ends need to be prevented as well as treated so as to prevent further damage of hair. Following some basic preventive measures helps in retaining the health and shine of your hair.
