These include factors like excessive dryness or oiliness, skin infections like eczema and psoriasis, use of poor quality shampoos and others. Dandruff can also be triggered off by stress.

Whatever be the cause, this article will throw light on some simple natural ways that can help you achieve dandruff-free hair.

Initially, when you see dandruff flakes on your hair, you should try to change your shampoo. This is because there are certain shampoos which can lead to dandruff if they do not suit your hair. Thus, a change in shampoo can help people whose dandruff is a result of wrong shampoo selection.

If you have extreme dry hair, then you might have dandruff due to dryness. This kind of dandruff can be treated naturally by oiling your hair and preventing dryness. You can mix olive oil and almond oil and massage it on your scalp.

Diet has an important role to play in preventing or treating the problem of dandruff. You should avoid intake of spicy and oily food if you are suffering from dandruff. In addition, also minimize or preferably stop your intake of strong coffee and tea.

Lemon is widely used for naturally getting rid of dandruff. All you need to do is to apply some lemon juice on your hair and scalp and then wash it after about fifteen minutes.

In addition, you can also apply a mixture of one egg and one cup of yogurt on your head. You should keep this homemade mixture for about half an hour on your scalp before washing it.
