How to Get Rid of Bed Bugs
Getting a sound and proper sleep is essential to lead a happy and a healthy life. However, there are times when bed bugs can disrupt your sleep and make sleeping time a painful and a dreaded experience.
After all, you wouldn’t like to share your bed with a bug that bites you and feeds on your blood, leading to immense discomfort and even pain.
Given below are some tips that can help you get rid of these unwanted bed bugs.
As the name suggest, bed bugs are usually found on beds, couches, and even in chairs. You can find out if you have bed bugs in your house by carefully examining your beds.
If you see blood stains, dark spots, or empty skins on or around your bed, then they can indicate presence of bed bugs.
Cleanliness is the answer to a bug free sleep. You should keep your beds, bed covers, pillow covers and your surroundings clean to ward off unwanted bed bugs.
Washing bed and pillow covers in warm water can help in eliminating bed bugs. This is because hot water helps in killing the bugs and is thus a helpful way of disinfecting your beds and linen.
Using hot water to clean infected items also helps in getting rid of bed bug’s eggs. Also, you must take care of the cleanliness of your mattress. They can be cleaned of dust and bugs with the help of a vacuum cleaner.
Most of us have carpets and wallpapers in our house. Bed bugs can be found in such places too including closets and thus you need to take care of the cleanliness and hygiene of such areas of your house too.
Many times there are small items that are infected by bed bugs but it is difficult to wash them. To kill bugs, you need to raise the temperature and if it is difficult to wash everything in hot water, you can place such items in sunlight to get rid of bed bugs.
Thus, follow the above given tips to effectively free your house from bed bugs so that you have a sound and a healthy sleep.

only HOT water above 60 celsius will kill bedbugs, to be sure , put your bedding in the dryer also to make sure no eggs survive. if you wash in warm water you MUST rinse at least twice to get rid of all bugs. i also use the dryer for pillows and child’s plush toys. when i travel i always use an allersac to protect myself and family, it can also be washed and dried on high heat. for inside my house i use food grade diatomaceous earth , it won’t harm my dog.
