How to get formally dressed up in right manner

January 21, 2009

Certainly getting formally dressed up in the right manner is as important as your perfect makeup for the gala event. So next time whenever you think of attending any formal business meeting, make sure you are dressed correctly otherwise you can leave a bad impression on your company’s clients. This article will guide you with important tips that will certainly help you in getting rightly dressed in your formal suits.

Mind it that slim fit body hugging suits are going to be the hottest trend for this season. To offset the somber suit, you can pick a colorful or even an embroidered top. You can also wear a top or shirt in a tone lower than the jacket and look chic.

Always keep in mind that badly cut suit can completely spoil your look. If your jacket hangs loose from the shoulders or the sleeves are too long, it defeats the purpose of a business suit. So try out for your perfect size before purchasing your formal suit.

Always be careful of your combinations like you should never be caught dead on orange suit with a fluorescent tee. Pair colors carefully and smartly. Remember that wrong color combinations can make you a source of amusement for others. You can go for combinations like burgundy jacket with charcoal pants, believe me, they look awesome.

You can accessorize a little bit of your formal looks by wearing a slim leather belt but not any shiny or sparkling stuff.

You can pair hip length two-button jacket with a below-the-knee pencil skirt. Offset the outfit with a colorful shirt. For a power puff dressing, wear a narrow belt with nude knee-length stockings, simple three inch heels and a touch of red in accessory.

Avoid wearing a pin-stripe jacket informally.
