How to create relaxed and cool atmosphere in your bedroom

July 17, 2008

To add a good living and health quotient in your life, the tranquil, soft color walls go a long way in creating a relaxed and fresh atmosphere in your bedroom. Try to bring eco-green changes in your room for that peaceful and soothing look.

For bringing the eco-green magic in your bedroom, just take a deep look at your high thread sheets and pillow top mattress firstly. They might be harbouring toxins that are less than restorative. So it would be better for you to switch on to neater, cleaner and more natural sheets, as they are better to sleep on. You should opt for those stuffs that can breathe and absorb the moisture. This moisture is an amount of perspiration given off during your eight hours of your sleep. It would be nice if you look for sheets made from organic, natural fibers. Pure linen is ideal for summers. Avoid sleeping on silk sheets that needs dry cleaning often because it emanates toxic fumes.

If you sleep with your nose in or next to your pillow, then choose bedding made up of organic, untreated natural materials which do not produce any odour. Sleeping on an organic pillow goes a long way in improving your health.

Finally if you are thinking to sleep with fresh air, better for you. Mind it; it’s never a good idea to sleep with your windows shut. If you really want to feel good and fresh when you wake up in morning, make sure you kept your windows half open for ventilation purpose. Remember that the earth element in the bedroom is a key component for a restful sleep. So, try using all the natural bedding that come from the land and not from the factory.
