How to Clean Ceramic Tile
Many houses have ceramic tiles for a beautiful and elegant look. Moreover, these tiles are durable, and unlike the common perception, they are also easy to use. To help you out, given below are some helpful tips on effective cleaning of a ceramic tile.
Taking care of ceramic tiles is necessary to keep them durable and spic and span. Many people use ceramic tiles in kitchens and bathrooms and thus daily cleaning of them is essential to keep them clean and healthy. Daily cleaning involves sponging it with the help of clean water. After that, you should dry the tiles with the help of a clean dry cloth. This will help in cleaning the tiles of daily dirt and stains. Ceramic tiles are the easiest to clean and maintain and do not require harsh abrasives or chemicals.
They can be easily cleaned with plain water. You can also buy some commercial cleaners which are designed specifically for ceramic tiles. However, if your ceramic tiles and have not been cleaned for a long time and if they are extremely dirty, then simple water will probably not help. For that, you need a chlorine bleach solution. Take two gallons of water and add one quart of chlorine bleach to it.
Use this solution to get rid of accumulated dirt and stain on your ceramic tiles. To prevent your floor from damage, you can also use vacuum cleaners. It is a vital step in maintaining the cleanliness of your tiles. For cleaning grout, material used in between tiles, you can make a solution of ¼ cup mild detergent and one galloon water. If your gout is white and has become stained, then a 50/50 solution of hydrogen peroxide and water can help.
