How to Clean a Microwave
Microwave is a great help and a boon for women as it provides great help in cooking procedures. They have simplified the household kitchen work of women thereby helping in the saving of time and effort. However, one needs to keep one’s microwave clean as they are involved in the hosting of food containers and thus it becomes essential for them to be neat, clean and hygienic to prevent any health related problem. The term cleaning itself is a highly loaded word as it is often perceived as a tedious task. However, cleaning a microwave is not that difficult and by following the given tips, one can ensure hygienic conditions with ease and comfort.
The interiors of the microwave often contain stuck up food articles which become firm with time. To remove such stubborn stains and food particles, one should fill a microwave safe bowl with water and 1 tbsp of white vinegar. Place it inside the microwave for 5 minutes. This would help in steaming up the walls of the microwave thereby loosening the dried-up particles. One can also add some lemon juice to the water before heating it to provide it with a fresh smell. This is a safe and hygienic way of cleaning the microwave without the use of any chemical cleansers. The trays of the microwave should be washed frequently with dish soap and should be dried properly before being inserted back in the microwave. One can also prevent the microwave from being too dirty by covering food loosely while heating it. Similarly, one should leave the microwave open for few minutes after heating it so that it can dry and it also helps in providing an outlet for the pent up air inside the microwave.
Cleaning a microwave is a simple task which yields long term health benefits by providing you with fresh and hygienic food. The cleaning process takes only about 5 to 10 minutes and is thus extremely beneficial in terms of cost, effort and time.
