How to be a fit mom
Most moms think that running around to their home during household chores can be accounted as “exercise”, but believe me it’s nothing more than routine work. Your body needs something extra and challenging to make you fit. If you can keep your appointments at parlors, kitty parties, social gatherings, then you can spend 45 to 1hour just for yourself too. Think this time to be an appointment with yourself.
Workout can be carried out anytime, so priorities your daily activities and inculcate workout as an important ingredient of your lifestyle. It’s just like brushing your teeth everyday. But it’s important that before starting any workout, you get your body assessment done and then select the activities that suit you. You just need to be active. Just start answering your door bells yourself, stop the use of TV remote, and get yourself a glass of water. Walk as, much as you can whenever and wherever.
Think that you are working out for your good. Your other family members like husband and kids might be busy in their schedules, so if by chance you fall sick; it’s only you who have to take care of yourself. So start thinking about yourself too, for a fit life.
Make smart food choices for yourself. Plan your menu for week on Sundays and then buy the vegetables likewise.
It is very important that you take 5 to 6 meals a day. Remember if breakfast, lunch and dinner are the pillars then, mid –morning and mid-evening meals acts as metabolism boosters. Eat diet rich in carbohydrates, proteins, fats and fiber in right amount. boneless chicken, fish, lean meats ,white wheat pastas, brown breads, low fat dairy products make wise choices.
But if you are an expecting mom, make sure you consult your gynecologist before starting up any new workout for yourself. Also, modify your diet chart with doctor’s consultation.
