How to Avoid Smelly Feet
Nobody likes to have bad smelly feet s it is not only unhygienic but also a social embarrassment. You wouldn’t like people staying miles away from you due to your bad smelling feet. But you don’t necessarily have to move around with bad odor, there are ways to prevent it. Read below and find out how to keep your feet healthy, hygienic and sweet smelling ones which attracts people, not repulses them.
Ever wondered that your shoes can be a biggest reason for those smelly feet? Not necessary that only cheap quality shoes smell, but even branded and expensive ones. This is because everyday the numerous glands present in your feet produce sweat which gets absorbed by your shoes. You then just remove those shoes and keep them in a dark cupboard where bacteria and fungi decompose that sweat leading to bad smell which slowly gets transferred to your feet due to repeated wearing of shoes. Dry and wash your shoes frequently to avoid such a smelly scenario. If you frequently suffer from the problem of smelly feet, you should strictly avoid wearing same shoes on consecutive days. Moreover, also allow your feet to get ventilated and don’t trap them continuously in those heavy boots and shoes. Not to forget- change your socks on a regular basis. Preferably avoid wearing nylon socks. Instead wear cotton socks as they allow your feet to breathe naturally along with helping in absorption of sweat without smell. You should also regularly bathe your feet in lukewarm water, using a mild soap and dry it thoroughly. Also check for fungal infections between your toes and on the bottom of your feet. If you spot redness or dry skin, use an athlete’s foot preparation, available from your local chemist.
Follow these simple preventive steps to keep your feet healthy and hygienic without any bad odor.
