How to avoid becoming a victim

October 15, 2008

Well we all know people who delight in being victims. They love to moan about their lot and seem to be naturally unlucky. What is worse, they seem to enjoy being unlucky; it sometimes appears to be their very own reason for their existence. Certainly it‘s difficult to avoid becoming a victim, but still here are some ways that can help you to avoid falling in the same trap.

Make your plans properly:
Remember when your make your plan by considering the pros and cons of a project; it is less likely to get failed up. You’ll definitely have less ‘bad luck’ if you plan out the things properly. As after gaining the full insight of a venture, you have already looked over the things that might get happen in the future.

Remember that you don’t win everytime:

When you take the risk, be prepared to accept the downside if the project doesn’t go according to the laid plan. Try to calm yourself with situations and remember you cannot win everything nor can you lose everything. Also, keep in mind that people who don’t take risks never lose, plus they never win either!

Don’t kick yourself:
Remorse about what hasn’t worked out won’t change anything. Remember when you can’t change the circumstances, it’s better to change your attitude towards the situation, so if you get it wrong, then pick yourself up. Learn the things from this bad experience and move on with other aspects of life. Remember not to be too harsh on yourself.

Keep mum:
If you don’t tell the people the bad bits, most of them will never find it out. Remember, you always know more about yourself than anyone else. Don’t share what you don’t have to. There’s nothing wrong being mum.
