How mirrors enhances the interiors of your home
Undoubtedly mirrors add to the décor of your home and brighten up the spaces. An artistically frame mirror enhances the room in various ways. You will be surprised to read that mirror creates an illusion of a greater space. Stylish mirrors can be used by people for numerous purposes in their bedrooms, dining room corners, corridors, bathrooms foyers and even in walk-in cupboards to get a good effect.
Proper location of mirror in the interiors of your home is as important as buying the right kind of mirror. A large bedroom that offers you more space is a good choice for elaborately framed mirror placed in a prominent corner. Another popular location is over the mantelpiece of a fireplace. Placing a beautifully framed mirror on a wall facing a passageway is a nice way to bring dramatic feature to otherwise a deaden wall. Elegantly and framed mirrors also function as interesting punctuation points along lengthy, drab walls.
Initially mirror frames were available in standard rectangular, square and circular shapes but now they are available in variety of designs ranging from simple to intricate. as far as frame material is concerned , you can choose from silver, gold, wrought-iron, wood, plastic, mica, brass, small ceramic tiles etc. some people prefers homemade accessories like dried flowers, ferns ,tree barks and even desiccated vegetables like peas and beans ,cinnamon sticks in unusual arrangements around the mirror. Random placements of plastic and silk flowers around the mirror also enhance its visual appeal considerably. Hand painted frames, carved or in moulded artistic borders are other ways to accessorize mirrors. So don’t think much, just get a smart intricate piece of mirror with or without frame. Add little bit of your imagination and make your own designer frame around the mirror and place it in your room for giving it a new designer look.
