Household Uses of Beer
When we think about beer, the first thing that comes to mind is alcohol and harmful effects of alcohol addiction. Do you know that beer has some positive uses too? While there is no denying the fact that excessive consumption of alcohol is dangerous for health, you can still keep beer at home and use it for useful household works. Given below are some ways by which you can effectively use beer apart from its unhealthy consumption.
The next time you go for a bath, you can take beer along with you. Shampooing your hair with beer mixed in warm water is a good way to make your hair soft and silky. Also, soaking your hair in beer and then lying in the sun is one of the most effective natural ways of getting highlighted layers of hair. You can also take a beer bath to cleanse and exfoliate your skin along with softening it. Worried about stains on your carpet? Well, a little beer is all you need to wipe away the stains. You can easily remove all coffee and tea stains by simply rubbing a little beer on it. You can also polish your gold jewelry with beer to keep them shining and glittering. If your gold has become dull, you just need to pour a little beer on a soft cloth and rub it gently over your gold jewelry. Also, you can clean your wooden furniture and keep it in a clean, neat and healthy condition with beer cleansing. Thus, beer is quite a useful home cleanser which helps in providing shine to gold along with aiding in removal of stains and furniture cleansing. Beer is also used commonly in houses to soften up tough meat. Given the various benefits and uses of beer in household activities, it is not a bad idea to keep beer at home. However, use it for beneficial purposes and not for consumption as that can lead to health hazards.
