Homemade Hair Conditioner
You all must be aware of the numerous benefits of hair conditioners. They are used after shampooing of hair to make the hair soft, shiny and most importantly manageable. Hair conditioning is thus an important part of hair care as it helps in protecting the hair, making it easier to manage and healthy. While we are aware of the various brands of conditioners available in markets, there are also certain ways by which you can make your conditioner at home. Given below are some ways by which you can make hair conditioners at home.
Let’s begin with henna home conditioners. If you have oily hair, then you can mix Henna with two tablespoons of yogurt and add a pinch of salt to it. Mix it to make a paste and also add some water to it. Apply this mixture on your hair for about 20 minutes before rinsing it off with clear water. Similarly, for dry hair, you can mix Henna in a tablespoon of oil and enough warm milk to make a paste. These homemade henna conditioners help in making your hair naturally healthy and shiny. You can also make a saffron homemade hair conditioner. You first need to boil saffron strands in water, and add lime and 1 tbsp of honey in it after saffron has cooled down. Rub this mixture on your scalp and keep it for about 15 minutes for naturally glowing and smooth hair.
To make an almond home conditioner, you need to put 4 tsp of almonds/sesame in a saucepan and add 2 tsp coconut oil to it. Heat it well and then allow it to cool for some time. Now stir this mixture in 3 tsp of honey and I tsp of cider vinegar. Your almond hair conditioner is ready. Similarly, rosemary and egg conditioners can be made at home. Now make hair conditioners at home and not only save money but also make a conditioner specific to the nature of your hair.
